Bahrain Finance Minister calls for sustained executive-legislative cooperation

Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has stressed the need for continuous partnership between the executive and legislative branches to serve the nation and its citizens.
Shaikh Salman was speaking during a meeting yesterday with the head of the Parliamentary Committee for Financial and Economic Affairs, Ahmed Sabah Saloom.
They discussed cooperation between the Council of Representatives and the Finance Ministry, as well as several issues of common concern.
The minister praised the cooperation between the executive and legislative branches in backing the development efforts and achieving the aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He also commended continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
MP Ahmed Saloom expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Shaikh Salman for his unflinching keenness to enhance cooperation between the executive branch and the legislature to achieve the desired goals.
