Focus on raising the quality of physical education in Bahrain schools

Education Ministry is keen to ensure comprehensive training programmes, especially for physical education teachers as per regional and international standards, said Professor Kefaya Al Anzour. The move, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Services said, aims at upgrading educational services in the Kingdom.
Al Anzour was visiting Isa Town Primary Preparatory School for Boys to review the progress of the aerobics training course implemented by the Department of Physical Education. About 20 physical education teachers are making use of the facilities currently.
“We are keen to introduce programmes that meet the needs of people in the educational, administrative and technical services to enhance the quality of the teaching and learning process,” added Al Anzour.
