Thousands throng Al Dana Amphitheatre for opening concert

Al Dana Amphitheatre, Bahrain’s newest and most exciting live entertainment destination, hosted leading Arabic artist Rashed Al Majed for its premiere concert on Friday 5 November 2021.

Held at full capacity, the venue boasted a large crowd of concertgoers who cheered as the stunning show backdrop was revealed and Rashed Al Majed’s first concert at Al Dana Amphitheatre began.

The renowned artist, along with Maestro Walid Fayed, kicked off the show with a heartfelt welcome message before singing a special set that included singles from his latest albums, along with several of his most popular hits.

Al Majed further performed a number of national songs, in which he expressed his appreciation and the Kingdom's endless devotion, to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

In line with the Kingdom’s Economic Recovery Plan, which aims to implement major national tourism projects to place Bahrain at the forefront of the recreational and cultural tourism sector, guests were left with countless memories to take home and cherish in their memory of the concert in Bahrain.

Before leaving the venue, Rashed Al Majed expressed his gratitude to HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for supporting the Kingdom's efforts in initiating the artistic venue and further expressed his pride in being the first artist to perform live at Al Dana Amphitheatre. Al Majed conveyed his gratitude towards the organising team, thanking them for their outstanding efforts that led to the success of the night.

As the night came to an end, Arif Rahimi, Chairman of Al Dana Amphitheatre, said: “We are honoured to have welcomed our guests for the very first time, and we have been eagerly anticipating their arrival at Al Dana Amphitheatre. We are grateful for Rashed Al Majed’s efforts and his ingenious approach to keeping the crowd entertained. We look forward to welcoming him and our guests again at the venue.”
