Tamkeen to hold Annual Public Consultation Forum in December

TDT | Manama

The Daily Tribune – www.newsofbahrain.com

Tamkeen will hold its annual Public Consultation Forum to collect feedback on its services and programmes by the second week of next month. This year, the Forum will be an in-person event, unlike in 2020, where the event was virtual Via. Zoom, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bahrain currently is in the green level on its COVID-19 alert system modelled on the traffic light system that allows people to enjoy indoor and outdoor activities without restrictions. Tamkeen had also invited bids from event management agencies for conducting the Annual Forum, according to a Tender board document.

“Tamkeen is seeking proposals to organise, cater and manage Tamkeen Public Consultation Forum event that will be conducted on the second week of December 2021,” reads the tender launched by Tamkeen.

The Forum allows Tamkeen to collect feedback from the public on its programmes, which, Tamkeen said, will help it improve its performance, achieve its goals and objectives. The Forum will include partners and industries, including startups, individual entrepreneurs, and SMEs, among other stakeholders playing a role in uplifting the national economy.

Last year, Tamkeen had four breakout sessions to share feedbacks on Business Development Support, Individuals Development Support, Startups and Entrepreneurship, and Youth & Students.

The Forum is a continuation of Tamkeen’s efforts to boost the national economy by helping private sector enterprises grow. The Tender document says bidders should have enough experience in the field of event organisation and management. If interested, make bids before the 11th of this month, with a BD500 bond and BD15 tender fees.
