Residents of Al Firdaws Complex in Muharraq Governorate laments the lack of access to basic amenities in their area, especially sewage network and street paving, reports Al Ayam.

There are over 100 homes in this area, where people had to drain their sewage at least twice a week, residents told AlAayam. “This is causing substantial financial losses to the residents and sometimes due to sewage overflows,” the report points out.

Lack of street paving is causing the sand laid a year ago for levelling the roads entering homes and parked vehicles. “After laying the sand, authorities didn’t proceed any further,” residents point out.

The sand trouble happens time after time, especially during windy seasons, as the area is open and close to the sea. The residence there called on concerned authorities to expedite the completion of the services as soon as possible.
