HRH Prince Salman stresses importance of supporting development among GCC countries

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister has stressed the importance of enhancing integration and supporting development, including economic and financial, to realise the aspirations of the citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

HRH Prince Salman also highlighted the importance of building upon past successes and exploring new horizons to meet the objectives and visions of the leaders of the GCC countries.

This came as His Royal Highness yesterday received the GCC Ministers of Finance, who participated in the 114th meeting of the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee, which was held at Gudaibiya Palace.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr Nayef Falah M. Al Hajraf, and Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.

HRH Prince Salman welcomed all the visiting ministers to the Kingdom of Bahrain and wished them every success in progressing the outcomes of the meeting.

The GCC Finance Ministers expressed their thanks and appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his commitment to strengthening GCC relations at all levels.
