Cementing strong bilateral relations between Bahrain and UAE

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday departed Abu Dhabi with renewed hopes of continuous growth of ties and friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UAE.

During the official visit to the UAE, HRH Prince Salman met with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to review and strengthen bilateral relations and explore ways to further enhance them, as well as to discuss regional and international developments.

His Royal Highness commended the outcomes of the official visit, which yielded several agreements, memorandums of understandings (MoUs) and plans that further strengthen wide-ranging cooperation between the countries across many sectors.

He was bid farewell by HH Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, HE Lt. General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and several senior officials.

Upon departure, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister sent a cable to the President of the UAE, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in which His Royal Highness expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the generous hospitality and warm reception received during the official visit.

He expressed his pride in the depth of cooperation and collaboration between the two countries, and thanks for the unwavering support received by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed.

His Royal Highness expressed Bahrain’s admiration for, and pride in, the UAE’s achievements, wishing HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed continued health, and the UAE further growth and prosperity.

HRH Prince Salman also sent a cable to the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, in which he expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the generous hospitality and warm reception received during the official visit to the UAE.
