Bahrain visit to UAE will boost financial and economic cooperation

Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has praised the UAE visit’s outcomes of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The minister made the statements as he participated in the official delegation that had accompanied His Royal Highness during his official visit to the UAE yesterday.

Shaikh Salman indicated that the results of HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s visit will further boost the distinguished financial and economic cooperation between the two countries.

He noted that the existing robust cooperation between the two countries has yielded multiple successes, including mainly the consolidation of investment opportunities, as well as cooperation in financial and banking, taking the sector to new heights.

He also lauded the agreements and memoranda of understanding signed on its sidelines, affirming their importance in bolstering bilateral cooperation at all levels, and pushing joint coordination towards more complementarity to reach common goals that would benefit both countries.

Shaikh Salman also underlined Bahrain’s keenness to ensure the continuity of its fruitful cooperation with the UAE at all levels.

He affirmed the depth of the long-standing relations between the two countries, praising the level reached by the two brotherly countries’ cooperation in the economic and financial fields, reflecting the keenness and interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Highness President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the UAE.
