Strong Bahrain-US bilateral ties and strategic partnership highlighted

Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani has stressed deep-rooted friendly relations and solid strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the US, hailing the efforts exerted by both countries to enhance bilateral cooperation.
This came as Dr Al Zayani received yesterday a delegation from Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars headed by Chief Executive Mark Green.
The meeting was held on the occasion of the delegation’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain within the framework of joint cooperation with the Supreme Council for Women (SCW). Dr Al Zayani commended the role of the centre in conducting studies by discussing global issues through dialogue and research.
The delegation hailed the kingdom’s efforts in enhancing the values of tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and dialogue as well as promoting the comprehensive development process and maintaining security and stability in the region.
They wished the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity. The meeting was attended by the Chief of American Affairs at the ministry, Ambassador Shaikh Abdulla bin Ali Al Khalifa, the SCW Assistant Secretary-General, Shaikha Deena bint Rashid Al Khalifa, Rania Ahmed Al Jarf, the Director of the Gender Balance Center at the Supreme Council for Women, and Noora Abdulaziz Al Rafei, the Head of the Department of National and International Cooperation at the Supreme Council for Women.
