To commemorate the International French Teachers Day, the Laurels Centre for Global Education is organising a French video contest for school students, followed by an online Symposium, in collaboration with Campus France.

There will also be sessions on “Teachers at the heart of education recovery” and “Guidance for parents and teachers to help support students beyond the classroom.”

The contest and the event are conducted with the aim to motivate and help the budding learners of French. The students can represent their school or register independently for the contest under two categories – students of grades 6 and 7 to create a two-minute video of self-introduction and grades 8 to 10 to create a three-minute video of story recital.

The event will be open to the public and will take place on November 27, from 10 am to 11.30 am via the Zoom platform. The participants may call or WhatsApp +973 33609501 for registration.
