Invest in national workforce to achieve development: HRH Prince Salman

It is important to invest in the national workforce to help achieve Bahrain’s comprehensive development goals, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

This was emphasised by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as he met yesterday with the seventh intake of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme at Gudaibiya Palace.

HRH Prince Salman noted that further strengthening the skillset of young public sector employees is vital to support ongoing government strategies, initiatives and plans.

His Royal Highness congratulated the fellows on their selection to participate in the yearlong programme and wished them success in achieving the fellowship’s vision and objectives.

The projects, ideas and initiatives of previous fellows were commended by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and noted the importance of providing quality opportunities for young government leaders to ensure their contributions to the Kingdom’s ongoing advancement and development. Members of the seventh batch of the fellowship programme expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness and expressed their appreciation for his commitment to supporting the programme.

The fellows pledged to gain the necessary skillsets needed from the programme to support the Kingdom’s ongoing comprehensive development.

Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
