A group of masters-level students from the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) have organised a charitable event in partnership with the ‘Smile’ of Bahrain society.

A fun artistic day for children who have been affected by cancer was held on 27 November in Artly (located in Aali).

The United Art Project’s message is centred around art because it fosters self-expression and creativity. Youth who have access to art learn to think critically and adapt to new approaches for learning.

The children engaged in a fun artistic afternoon filled with activities such as glass painting, clay making and fizzy rainbow.

A cancer survivor spoke to the children and encouraged them to be strong, standing as testimony to the fact that children with cancer have the strength to grow up, be successful and live bountiful lives.

The activities were funded through receiving charitable donations to the ‘Smile’ Society foundation which provides support to children with cancer and their parents.
