HM King exchanges congratulations with HRH Princess Sabeeka on Bahraini Women’s Day

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received a cable of congratulations from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW). 

In the cable, HRH Princess Sabeeka expressed sincere congratulations to HM the King on the occasion of the Bahraini Women’s Day, coinciding this year with the anniversary of the SCW, established by HM King Hamad 20 years ago to meet the aspirations of the present and future generations. 

HRH Princess Sabeeka lauded HM the King’s unwavering support and wise directives to grant women their well-deserved national status to contribute to serving their country. 

HRH Princess Sabeeka expressed heartfelt thanks and gratitude to HM the King for granting this year’s Bahraini Women’s Day special care, praying to Allah the Almighty to bless HM King Hamad with abundant health and wellness, as well as to guide him on the right path to bring about more progress and prosperity to the kingdom. 

HM the King sent a congratulatory cable to HRH Princess Sabeeka on the Bahraini Women’s Day and the 20th anniversary of the SCW, commending her efforts and those of the SCW’s affiliates to advance Bahraini women and empower them to contribute to the national march across various fields. 

HM King Hamad expressed pride in the documentary book on the SCW’s achievement and souvenir gift offered by HRH Princess Sabeeka to HM. 

HM the King lauded Bahraini women’s national role and contributions to serving the kingdom in the political, economic, social and cultural development fields, expressing hope that more landmark national gains will be attained to Bahraini women thanks to the opportunities provided by the royal reform project. 

HM the King also commended the tremendous efforts exerted by the SCW to further empower Bahraini women, whom he wished more success and progress.
