A quick scroll of her Instagram page will show you her incredible beauty strengths: brows on fleek and some seriously slick winged liner looks. This girl has got some beauty tricks worth getting to know. Read on to see what gives her confidence, the secret to making her own natural body scrub and to find out what beauty really means to her.
What do you think the link is between inner and outer beauty?
“Health is beauty from the inside out. When I feel fit and strong internally, I have unbelievable confidence and I feel beautiful.”
How do you care for your skin and hair internally?
“I try and eat more organically and drinking two litres of water every day without fail. I also love drinking smoothies especially in Summer. I use pea protein, chia seeds, spirulina, oats and fruit to create the yummiest smoothie ever!”
What are your top five essentials for healthy skin and hair?
1. I use a facial brush to exfoliate my skin as I find this deeply removes all dirt and makeup.
2. I drink two litres of water every day.
3. A weekly treatment like Pantene’s Daily Moisture Renewal Intensive Hair Masque ($10.99). I’m always heat styling my hair and it tends to be left feeling frizzy and dry with split ends. I use the masque to repair my hair from the core to reveal stronger, shinier hair.
4. I take supplements to help keep my skin, hair and nails strong.
5. Body scrubs — I like to make my own! Coconut oil, brown sugar and vanilla extract.
What would be your advice for someone wanting to increase their hair shine?
“Having a good quality shampoo and conditioner is conditioner! You don’t need to break the bank in order to have the best products. Some of the best beauty products out there have a reasonable price tag.”
What things, other than products, are important in your beauty routine?
“Sleep!”
What three words sum up the idea of beauty to you?
“Kind, strong and confident.”
