Dr Al Zayani attends GCC Ministerial Council’s 50th session in Riyadh

Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani yesterday participated in the meeting of the 150th session of the Ministerial Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The meeting was held at the Prince Saud Al Faisal Conference Centre at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council in Riyadh.

Saudi Foreign Minister and Chairman of the current session of the Ministerial Council, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud chaired the session, in the presence of GCC counterparts and Secretary General Dr Nayef Falah Mubarak Al Hajraf.

The ministers discussed the topics on the agenda, including recommendations submitted by the relevant ministerial committees and the General Secretariat, reviewing what has been accomplished within the framework of achieving integration and cooperation in the process of joint Gulf action.

They also discussed dialogues and strategic relations between the GCC and international countries and blocs, in addition to the latest regional and international developments.

The Ministerial Council approved the topics to be presented to the meeting of GCC leaders in the forty-second session of the Supreme Council, which will be hosted by Riyadh tomorrow.
