HM King departs to Saudi Arabia to lead Bahrain’s delegation to 42nd GCC Summit

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has departed the Kingdom to Saudi Arabia to lead Bahrain’s delegation to the 42nd Summit of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), taking place in Riyadh later today.

HM the King was bid farewell by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The official delegation accompanying HM King Hamad comprised of the following members:

-     HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa 

-     Royal Court Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa 

-     Advisor to HM the King for Diplomatic Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa 

-     Advisor to HM the King for Media Affairs, Nabil bin Yaqoob Al Hamar 

-     Foreign Affairs Minister, Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani 

-     Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, 

-     Royal Protocols Chief, Major-General Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Fadhala 

-     Personal Secretary to HM the King, Hamad bin Ali Al-Kaabi 

-     Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force, Lieutenant-General Thiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi

-     • Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs. Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa,
