Assala Nasri and Majed Al Mohandes Perform Live During Al Dana Amphitheatre’s National Day Event

Following the two highly successful concerts taking place in early November and December, Assala Nasri and Majed Al Mohandes performed live at Al Dana Amphitheatre, Bahrain’s newest and most exciting live entertainment destination, in celebration of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s 50th national day, on Wednesday 15 December 2021.

Held at full capacity, the electrifying sold-out concert boasted a large crowd of attendees who have been eager to attend the highly anticipated national day celebration at Al Dana Amphitheatre for the first time since its inauguration.

Immediately as the lights came on revealing the stunning backdrop, the crowd began cheering in anticipation of a night full of melodious vocals. Assala Nasri, one of the Arab world’s biggest stars, kicked off the concert at 8 pm with a heartfelt welcome message, followed by a series of the greatest and most popular hits from her 30-year musical career along with Maestro Walid Fayed leading the musical band.

The multi-award winning Assala became famous following the release of her debut song in 1991. Her voice is distinguished by its strong tone that leaves a deep impact on the audience.

Excitement had taken over the Theatre as Majed Al Mohandes took the venue by storm during the second part of the concert, connecting with his audience while sporting an exhilarating smile. The crowd began swinging from side to side and sang along as the renowned artist treated the audience to a wide variety of his most popular songs from his several albums throughout the night.

Majed Al Mohandes began his musical career in the early 90’s and has since collaborated with several well-known artists, including Mohammed Abdo, Abdulla Al Ruwaished, and Kazem Al Saher. He rapidly grew into a music sensation, winning numerous awards including the ‘Best Arab Singer’ Award in 2005.

As the thrilling night came to an end, both Assala Nasri and Majed Al Mohandes expressed their gratitude to HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in addition to the organising team, thanking them for their outstanding efforts that led to the success of the night. Additionally, they expressed their pride for performing at the first national day event at Al Dana Amphitheatre.
