Legislative cooperation key to growth, says HM King Hamad

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday hailed the constructive cooperation between the legislative branches of the Kingdom in strengthening the democratic process.
“The constructive cooperation between the two branches is instrumental in achieving further development and progress,” said HM the King, as he received Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, the Chairman of the Shura (Consultative) Council Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, and their deputies.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister were present.
HM King Hamad stressed his pride in the pivotal role of the legislative branch in elevating the prospects for national action, strengthening the democratic process, defending the higher interests of the Kingdom and endeavouring to fulfil the aspirations of its citizens.
Al Saleh and deputies wished HM the King health and happiness and Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.
