We remember the sacrifices of the martyrs of duty: HRH Prince Salman

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister yesterday paid tribute to the great men and women who had sacrificed their lives defending the Kingdom.
“On Martyr’s Day, we remember the sacrifices of the martyrs of duty, who painted the most wonderful images of loyalty and love for the homeland, with what they made for the sovereignty and security of Bahrain and its people,” wrote HRH Prince Salman in a tweet.
Bahrain celebrates December 17th of each year, which coincides with the Accession Day, as Martyrs Day to commemorate and honour the Martyrs in recognition of their sacrifices and redemption for the sake of their country.
Separately, the representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, said, “It is a special and patriotic occasion to recall the loyalty and sacrifices of the fallen servicemen from the Bahrain Defense Force, the Ministry of Interior and the National Guard.”
“These fallen heroes had performed their patriotic duties with devotion and dedication in Bahrain and abroad and sacrificed themselves for the sake of the nation and its security.” HH Shaikh Nasser said that the sacrifices of the homeland’s fallen servicemen will remain engraved in the memory of the nation and the conscience of the people of Bahrain.
