The Executive Office of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism (Bahrainouna) opened a “Knight and Flag” Exhibition as part of celebrations of the National Days and Accession Day.
The exhibition opened at the Bahrain Financial Harbour Promenade (Walkway) is under the patronage of the Chairman of the National Council on the Arts, Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
The celebrations are in line with the directives of the Minister of Interior General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for raising a generation that believes in the values and importance of national loyalty.
The Chairman of the National Council for Arts, Shaikh Rashid, hailed the exhibition for its artistic and national values. He commended the Bahraini photographer’s Mohammed Bu Hassan efforts to use photography as part of Fine Arts to reflect the accomplishments and the heritage symbolism represented by the Bahraini knight.
Director of the Executive Office of Bahrainouna Hala Sulaiman said, “Originality, heritage, and strength were combined and artistically blended with sustainable development sites and achievements in a clear link between HM the King’s accession to the throne on December 17th and the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.”
Bahrainouna opened its eyes in March 2019 with more than 100 initiatives executed by 27 government organisations through five main tracks centred on belonging programmes, public relations campaigns, and media initiatives.
