The festive season is at our doorsteps and the celebrations are marked by special gatherings, visits to restaurants, shopping centres and tourist hotspots.

The Kingdom hosts the most exciting Christmas and New Year markets, offering the right platform to ‘celebrate shopping’.

It has the best restaurants that offer treats to foodies and also is home to classic tourist hotspots that would excite any visitor. Located in the business district of Seef, the Al A’ali Shopping Complex provides a unique and elegant shopping experience.

With its plush environs, sophisticated atmosphere, and abundance of luxury labels, this elegant space lives up to its commitment to glamour, fashion, and timeless luxury. It is the location for home furnishing stores, luxury gift shops, pearl traders, and a spa.

Situated to the South-West of Diyar Al Muharraq, Dragon City is a first of its kind development that encompasses over 787 commercial units, making it the largest wholesale and retail trading centre in the Kingdom.

The Bahrain Mall – the ultimate family shopping experience in the heart of Bahrain’s retail district. With over 120 international brands, Bahrain’s first hypermarket, and exciting events all year round, The Bahrain Mall is the shopping hub for families and visitors from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar.

The ethnic fortress-like red brick façade captures the legendary culture of Bahrain.

Desert palms, water features, flaming torches, and tent structures of the Centre Court evoke the Arabian heritage. Adhari Park is a brand-new visitor attraction in Bahrain adjacent to the existing Adhari National Park. Spread across 165,000 square meters, it provides a complete leisure experience for the whole family, aiming to become the number one family attraction in the GCC, with 38 exciting outdoor and indoor rides for people of all ages, a Family Entertainment Centre, 10 food outlets at the Food Court, Dine in a restaurant, Coffee Shops and a lot more.

Al Areen Wildlife Reserve is home to wildlife in Bahrain, where plant and animal species have been protected and cultivated for over 30 years. Many tourism hotspots across the Kingdom attract a lot of visitors during this festive season. Bab Al Bahrain is located at the entrance of the Manama Souq in Bahrain’s capital city Manama. Behind Bab Al Bahrain is the old Manama Souq.

This is a vibrant collection of shops offering a wide range of goods such as textiles, spices, incense, perfumes, handicrafts and souvenirs, as well as more modern products from all over the world.

Also located in the Manama Souq are several traditional coffee shops. The souq is quintessentially Bahrain; a place that visitors will be sure to enjoy. Located in the heart of Manama, Block 338 is a charming pedestrian quarter crammed with international restaurants, art galleries, and boutique shops.

Known as Bahrain’s hot dining district, Block 338 offers a wide range of restaurants appealing to all ages and tastes, offering a variety of options ranging from a fancy meal to traditional Bahraini food or just a soothing drink.

In addition to this distinguished eating experience, Block 338 has several good retail opportunities tucked along its side streets and has grown over the years into a vibrant space for art lovers. An adventure of eating and tasting is not new to the festive season. For many food lovers, Bahraini food offers an unmatchable treat to the taste buds. It is a combination of different flavours from different Arab kitchens.

The Kingdom has a lot of clubs catering to those who love partying hard. Juffair is always packed during the festive seasons; it is populated with the best nightclubs and four-star hotels. Adliya is another area for dazzling nightlife to celebrate Christmas and New Year.
