BRCS honours Gulf Red Crescent Societies Forum participants

The Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS), in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council, honoured the participants in the second Gulf Forum of Gulf Red Crescent Societies in Bahrain recently.
It was organised by BRCS under the title “Human Giving” and under the auspices of BRCS Vice President Ali bin Mohammed Murad. BRCS Secretary-General Mubarak Al Hadi handed over the honorary shields to representatives of the Gulf Red Crescent Societies who participated in the forum, in the presence of Dr Abdul Rahman Al Fahdi, representative of the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and members of the Board of Directors of the Society Dr Maryam Al Hajri and Dr Kawthar Al Eid.
Al Hadi stressed the importance of the discussions and working papers presented by the participants in the forum that contributed to the enrichment of the forum and the success of its work, extending his thanks to them for their fruitful participation in the forum.
He also pointed out the keenness of the BRCS to strengthen the links between humanitarian and relief workers at the Gulf level, and to contribute to guiding the energies of Gulf youth to serve their communities, in addition to instilling a love of volunteer work.
The honorees extended thanks to the BRCS for its outstanding organisation and generosity of hosting and stressed the importance of holding more meetings, courses, and workshops aimed at giving volunteers field and administrative expertise in charitable and organisational work.
