Indian School Bahrain student enters India Book of Records

The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) student Anu Jekshil Selvakumar has entered the India Book of Records for her craftwork using waste materials. She made 58 decorative items including flower pots, flowers, and wall hangings using waste materials. The 12-year-old is a class 8 student at the school’s Isa Town campus. She is the daughter of Subha Rani and Selva Kumar, who works as a supervisor in a private company in Bahrain. The family hails from the Kanyakumari district in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. Anu joined the ISB in 2015 and has been active in co-curricular activities. School chairman Prince S Natarajan, secretary Saji Antony and principal VR Palaniswamy congratulated the student on her achievement.
