Bahrain to expand ties with Saudi: HRH Prince Salman

Bahrain is looking forward to enhancing the depth of its bilateral and trade ties with Saudi Arabia to more areas, said His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

HRH Prince Salman said Bahrain and Saudi are to take ties further ahead with the support and commitment of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.

His Royal Highness said this during a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of Bahrain to Saudi Arabia, Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa at Riffa Palace. His Royal Highness congratulated Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman on his appointment, wishing him success in performing his duties.

HRH Prince Salman asked him to convey his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Saudi Arabia.

Shaikh Ali expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness for supporting the diplomatic workforce at all levels. The Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club High Committee, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, were present.
