Grammy winner Afrojack to perform live at F1 Bahrain GP 2022

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) announced yesterday that Grammy Award-winning producer, songwriter and DJ, Afrojack, is set to put on a spectacular concert as part of a packed programme of events at the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2022, happening March 18 to 20 in Sakhir.

This was revealed at a special Press conference held yesterday at BIC.

Afrojack will be performing live on the Friday of the race weekend.

All ticket holders will be able to attend the concert at no extra cost.

The Dutch-born entertainer is one of the world’s most innovative and sought-after artists.

He continues to shatter boundaries that push music into bold new directions, and has co-created major hits for stars such as Beyonce, Pitbull, will.i.am and David Guetta.

Afrojack is the first internationally renowned artist to be announced for this year’s F1 weekend at BIC.

Further updates on concert entertainment will be announced soon, BIC said.

Meanwhile, other major details on the F1 weekend were announced yesterday, with this year’s race being held under the slogan “A New Era”.

BIC will also hold F1 pre-season testing from March 10 to 12, as well as pre-season testing for Formula 2 and Formula 3 from March 2 to 4.
