HRH Prince Salman issues edict restructuring Taqyeem

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday issued Edict (6) of 2022, restructuring the Government Service Centre Evaluation Committee (Taqyeem).

Chaired by the Chief Executive Officer of the Information and e-Government Authority (iGA), the committee will comprise the following members, who will serve for a renewable four-year term:

Dr Raed Mohammed bin Shams, Yousif Mohammed Al Binkhalil, Dr Hamad Ebrahim Abdulla, Osama Saleh Hashem Al Alawi, Shaikh Muath bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Dr Mohammed Abdulla Baqer, Nada Abdulmajeed Al Qassab, Hussain Ali Al Shehab, Fadheela Ebrahim Mohammed Al Akram, Ahmed Abdulhay Al Awadhi.

The relevant authorities, each in their capacity, shall implement the provisions of this edict, which comes into effect upon its publication in the Official Gazette.

HRH Prince Salman issued Edict (7) of 2022, amending some provisions of Edict (27) of 2020 on re-structuring the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA).

According to the edict, clause (5) of Edict (27) of 2020 shall be replaced by the following:

“5- Mohammed Ahmed Abdulla Ali- Representative of Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat). The aforementioned shall serve until the end of the term of his predecessor.”

The edict shall take immediate effect, and will be published in the Official Gazette. His Royal Highness also issued Edict (8) of 2022, promulgating the issuance of the Executive Regulation of Law (7) of 2019 on Regulating the Registration of Births and Deaths.

Article (1): The provisions of the Executive Regulation of Law (7) of 2019 on Regulating the Registration of Births and Deaths, accompanying this edict, shall come into force.

Article (2): The Minister of Interior and those concerned, each in their capacity, shall implement the provisions of this edict, which takes effect upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
