Bahrain Health Ministry closes one restaurant, charges 16 others for Covid violations

Health Ministry yesterday closed a restaurant in the Capital governorate and booked 16 others for flouting the yellow level COVID-19 precautionary measures after inspecting 158 restaurants and cafes.
The ministry held the campaign in cooperation with Interior Ministry, the Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry and the Bahrain Exhibition and Tourism Authority.
Health officials visited restaurants and cafes in various governorates on Thursday evening.
Judicial control officers said they took necessary legal measures against violators.
The Health ministry called on all to continue adhering to COVID-19 precautionary measures and immediately report any violations or abuses to secure public health, limit the spread of the virus, and ensure the health and safety of everyone.
