Bahrain, Turkey bolster bilateral ties

Bahrain and Turkey discussed friendship and cooperation between them and ways to enhance and develop them in the political, economic, commercial, cultural and tourism fields.
Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani held a session of official talks with his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, who is on an official visit to Bahrain.
Dr Al Zayani welcomed his Turkish counterpart, praising the friendly relations between the two countries, which are based on mutual respect and cooperation.
He expressed Bahrain’s aspiration to enhance joint cooperation across all fields, stressing the importance of bolstering bilateral ties with regards to political and security challenges facing the Middle East.
Dr Al Zayani highlighted the need to maintain security, stability, and peace in the region, as well as achieve the aspirations of its peoples for development and prosperity, wishing Turkey and its friendly people further development and progress.
Cavusoglu thanked the minister, expressing delight at visiting Bahrain. He hailed the friendly relations between the two countries, stressing the keenness of Turkey to enhance relations and cooperation. He also wished Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
