HM King Hamad issues order promoting BDF personnel

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, issued a royal order promoting 553 BDF officers of different military ranks. The promotion came in conjunction with Bahrain’s celebration of the BDF anniversary which is observed on February 5.
HM the King also issued an order conferring the Order of Bahrain-First Class on nine BDF senior officers and the Order of Bahrain-Second Class on three BDF Senior officers. HM the King also issued an order bestowing the Medal of Military Merit, first and second classes, on 48 officers and 553 military personnel.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief conveyed to the promoted and decorated officers the congratulations and best wishes of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief issued an order promoting 4430 BDF personnel, including individuals and civilians of various ranks. He also issued an order conferring the Long Service Medal, in two classes, to 34 officers and 459 BDF members. He also ordered to confer the Medal of Competence, in two classes, to 106 officers and 757 BDF members.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief congratulated the promoted and honoured personnel, wishing them further success in assuming their national duties under the leadership of HM the King.
