Regional peace and stability a priority: HRH Prince Salman

Given the Arabian Gulf’s strategic and logistical importance to international security, ensuring peace and stability in the region is a priority.
This was emphasised by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as he received yesterday a delegation from the United States of America’s Atlantic Council, headed by Vice Admiral (Ret) John Miller, at Gudaibiya Palace.
Acknowledging Bahrain allies’ contribution towards this field, HRH Prince Salman highlighted the strength and depth of strategic relations between the Kingdom and the US and the importance of further developing ties to benefit both countries and their peoples.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted the importance of the work conducted by international research centres, commending the Gulf Security Taskforce for the insights and solutions they provide to regional challenges.
He noted that efforts to maintain international safety and security should be enhanced to benefit global development.
