Financial support for rain-affected families in Bahrain

The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has released financial support to the families affected by the heavy rains last month.
It was part of the directives of Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to assist them.
RHF Secretary-General Dr Mustafa Al Sayyed said they set up a link for online requests to receive support and that it received 880 applications.
The relevant committee reviewed the applications submitted based on the RHF standards and requirements.
Al Sayyed commended the RHF efforts and keenness to review all applications to ensure a fair distribution of the amounts based on an integrated system and specific standards and requirements.
A list of the families eligible for assistance was drawn up and the amounts were transferred to bank accounts to contribute to addressing some of the damage to homes.
