Bahrain passenger caught attempting to smuggle 91 pills hiding in his guts

A passenger coming to Bahrain through Bahrain International Airport has been arrested after he was found to be hiding 91 outlawed narcotic pills in his guts, the Public Prosecution announced.
The suspect was allegedly arrested following a tip-off sent to the Bahraini customs officials, revealing that a man would visit Bahrain through the airport to smuggle the banned pills which included shabu.
The Public Prosecution pointed out that the suspect had said that he swallowed the pills at separate times.
He added that he wanted to peddle the pills in Bahrain.
The weight of the pills was 690 grams, according to the statement, which stated that investigations into the case are ongoing to identify if there are other people involved in the incident.
