HRH Prince Salman calls for unified global efforts to achieve security and stability

A unified approach and coordinated action among countries are essential to address extremist ideologies and terrorist activity.
This was emphasised by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as he received yesterday the Acting Assistant Secretary of the US State Department’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, Yael Lempert, at Riffa Palace.
HRH Prince Salman commended the US’s contribution to maintaining international security and stability and highlighted the importance of consolidating strategic relations between allies to assist these efforts.
He highlighted the depth of Bahrain-US historic relations, which continue to receive the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted that Bahrain is committed to enhancing cooperation and coordination with the US.
His Royal Highness also reiterated that the bilateral partnership shared between the two countries has been built upon a shared goal to maintain security in the region.
Regional and international developments and issues of common interest were also discussed.
Present in the meeting were Minister of Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani and His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club High Committee.
