Bahrain police successfully return stolen gold to owner

The Capital Governorate Police Directorate has succeeded in bringing back gold items worth BD31,000 stolen by six Asians. An investigation into the case led to identifying the suspects – aged 25 to 53 – who departed the country.
The stolen items were located before an attempt of an individual to traffic them via a cargo company.
After obtaining a warrant from the Public Prosecution, the luggage was searched and the items were seized and brought back to the owner. Legal proceedings were taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
