National Action Charter propelled complete sports renaissance: HH Shaikh Khalid

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), affirmed that the National Action Charter has propelled the Kingdom of Bahrain towards a complete sports renaissance.

Moreover, His Highness stated that the National Action Charter has greatly enabled the Kingdom’s local and national teams to achieve significant accomplishments and promote Bahrain’s presence in various sports forums at the continental and international levels.

Marking the National Action Charter anniversary, which is observed on February 14 every year, His Highness extended congratulations to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the loyal people of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa said: “The National Action Charter constitutes an insightful vision drawn by His Majesty the King in building the present and future of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Additionally, the National Action Charter led to incredible achievements at various levels, and it is part of a cherished event on which we remember the values of loyalty, the spirit of unity, and adherence to well-established national principles. These distinguished accomplishments were achieved thanks to the reform project of His Majesty the King, which is a shining sign in the history of the Kingdom of Bahrain that will be immortal in the national memory.”

Furthermore, His Highness indicated that the National Action Charter gave the Kingdom its most beautiful image of unity between the leadership and the people, which was reflected in the approval of the charter by a sweeping majority of 98.4%. 

Moreover, His Highness highlighted that this event has successfully attained comprehensive development goals that were included in the reform project of His Majesty the King, which delivers a magnificent present and a brighter future.

Additionally, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed that the sports sector is progressing in clear steps towards further development and progress, thanks to the outstanding care and support accorded to this sector by His Majesty the King, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. 

Moreover, His Highness stated that the sports sector in the Kingdom is experiencing significant strides that promote its administrative and technical systems, which will achieve more triumphs in this vital sector.
