HM King Hamad congratulates Endurance Cup winners

The top performance of Bahraini Jockeys in international races cemented Bahrain’s top rankings on the endurance map, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa said. “These performances were also instrumental in highlighting the efficiency and ability of the Kingdom’s jockeys, HM King added.
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa said this while watching the 160-kilometre King’s Endurance Ride Cup, organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef ).
The Bahrain International Village also witnessed a 120-kilometre race for local private stables. King Hamad congratulated Victorious team jockey Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa who won HM the King’s Endurance Cup.
King Hamad also congratulated KHK Team rider Hamad Janahi and Victorious Team jockey Abdulrahman Al Zayed, who finished second and third, respectively. His Majesty commended the Breef Chairman and board members for enhancing Bahrain’s standing in international competitions and races.
“The participation of GCC jockeys reflects the fraternal ties bonding Gulf nations,” said HM King. Earlier, upon arrival, HM King was received by HM’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Breef Honorary Chairman, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing High Committee Vice Chairman HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Breef Chairman HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
