Bahrain keen to develop ‘new strategic partnerships’ with US

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister has highlighted the importance of further building upon the longstanding, strong and strategic relations that exist between Bahrain and the US.
This came as HRH Prince Salman yesterday received the newly-appointed Ambassador of the US to Bahrain, Steven C Bondy, at Riffa Palace.
His Royal Highness emphasised the advanced cooperation between the two countries in various areas and the importance of continuing to explore opportunities to develop new strategic partnerships and mutually beneficial initiatives.
He welcomed the Ambassador, congratulated him on his appointment and wished him every success in performing his duties.
Regional and international issues and developments of common interest were also discussed. Present in the meeting was the Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club High Committee, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
