Online orientation programme at NMS, Bahrain

The New Millennium School, Bahrain conducted an orientation programme for parents and students of class X on 8 February.

This programme aimed to discuss and acquaint the students and parents with the curriculum pattern related to different subject combination options available in grades XI and XII.

The subject experts from all the three core stream Science, Commerce and Humanities guided the students with the significance, objectives, requirements and scope available to the streams.

The orientation was therefore a blend of knowledge as well as counselling. Principal Arun Kuumar Sharma emphasised the need for the children to identify their area of interest and to pursue the choice most suited to themselves.

Not one guided by peers or even the aspirations of one’s parents.

He also advised the students that irrespective of the subject combination they must focus on time and space independent skills which he referred to as Logic, Language and Life Skills.

The Chairman Dr Ravi Pillai, Managing Director, Mrs Geetha Pillai and the Principal, Mr Sharma, extended their best wishes and prayers for their upcoming CBSE Board Examination 2021-22.
