Bahrain minister receives top Asian Business Leadership Forum award

The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, was presented with the Trade Ambassador Award by the Executive Council of the 16th Asian Business Leadership Forum (ABLF).
The award honours the minister’s efforts in supporting economic relations, resolving commercial issues, developing innovative solutions and promoting government strategies for Bahrain.
Accepting the award, the minister congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for making Bahrain a role model in many sectors.
The award ceremony was at Expo 2020 Dubai - Sustainability Pavilion.
The forum, with the theme “Resilience, Rising: Sustainable Leadership for the Ruptured World” was under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Cabinet Member and Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence in the United Arab Emirates.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Executive of Emirates Airlines, were present.
Separately, the minister also took part in a dialogue session as part of the awards ceremony in the Terra Hall at Expo 2020 Dubai.
Participants discussed many social and economic issues and the post-pandemic world during this session.
Ban Ki-moon, Co-Chair of the Ban Ki-moon Center for Global Citizenship and the former Secretary-General of the United Nations, Maryam bint Mohammed Al Muhairi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment of the UAE, Dr Tariq Mohammed Al Gurg, the CEO and Vice Chairman of Dubai Cares, and Alain Bejjani, CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Holding Company, and other influential leaders from the public and private sectors, were present
