Bahrain Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets US Secretary of State

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister met the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken. The meeting took place as part of His Royal Highness's official visit to the United States of America.
His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of building ever closer Bahrain-US relations, which have endured for more than 75 years, and brought about a constant strategic partnership that has strengthened regional and global security, peace, stability and development.
In this regard, His Royal Highness underscored the importance of peaceful and diplomatic ways to resolve various global issues.
His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of further strengthening the Bahrain-US strategic partnership and developing bilateral relations which benefit both countries.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad and Secretary Blinken reviewed existing longstanding relations and explored ways to further cooperation and coordination.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad noted the importance of the Strategic Dialogue held between Bahrain and the United States. The forum enhances regional security and prosperity along with economic and trade development, reinforcing Bahrain's strategic partnership with the United States.
Regional and international issues and developments of common interest were also discussed.
For his part, Secretary Blinken stressed the importance of further strengthening longstanding Bahrain-US ties. Secretary Blinken commended the Kingdom of Bahrain's unwavering support on various issues as a major strategic non-Nato ally, in particular those related to security and stability.
