HRH Prince Salman calls on all to employ peaceful and diplomatic ways to resolve issues

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday stressed the importance of seeking peaceful and diplomatic ways to resolve various issues in the world during a meeting with the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
HRH Prince Salman also stressed that the partnership between Bahrain and US, which spans more than 75 years, had been instrumental in strengthening regional security and maintaining the foundations of peace, stability and prosperity in the world.
In this regard, Prince Salman also highlighted the importance of pushing Bahraini-US relations to more advanced levels.
Prince Salman was speaking during the second day of his official visit to the United States of America.
Discussions focused on developing cooperation and coordination between the two countries and boosting dialogues.
HRH Prince Salman said the strategic dialogue between Bahrain and the United States paved the way for enhancing regional security and prosperity and economic and trade development.
The meeting also discussed various issues of mutual concern, including regional and international developments.
The US Secretary of State hailed Bahrain for its support to the US as a strategic non-Nato ally in various issues, especially in security and stability.
Crucial to boost joint efforts The meeting with Blinken also came soon after HRH Prince Salman’s talks with Secretary of Defence, Lloyd J. Austin III, at the Pentagon, where the focus was on enhancing military and defence cooperation.
HRH told Austin that it is crucial to boost joint efforts to consolidate international peace and security, citing the present challenges.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad affirmed Bahrain’s role and efforts, alongside its allies, to confront challenges that impede international progress and development.
The US Secretary of Defence further hailed Bahrain’s prominent leadership role in securing maritime security as a strategic non-NATO ally.
He also affirmed commitment to bolstering defence partnership with Bahrain.
