Manama Dialogue helps in unifying security visions

Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday received Kuwaiti Deputy Chief of Staff Shaikh Abdulla Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Sabah, and National Security Agency Chief Shaikh Thamer Ali Al Sabah, who are currently on a visit to the Kingdom to participate in the Manama Dialogue.

HRH the Prime Minister asserted that the Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations are special and unique, adding that they were spearheaded by the ancestors and forefathers and strengthened by the kinship relations.

Prince Khalifa stressed the importance of meetings between senior officials in the region and the world, such as the Manama Dialogue, in coming up with unified visions on the region’s security and stability, pointing out that the massive GCC participation in such a key gathering reflects support to international efforts aiming to create a stable atmosphere in the region and the world.

HRH Premier praises Bahrainis’ dedication HRH the PM expressed pride in Bahrainis who contributed to honouring their country at the international gatherings and agencies in the fields of sport, culture, among others.

Premier wished every success for the President of the Asian Football Federation (AFC) Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa in the FIFA presidency elections. Prince Khalifa also commended the efforts of the President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, whose endeavours resulted in the Bahraini pavilion’s winning of silver medal at the Expo Milano 2015.

On the latest regional and global developments, HRH Premier affirmed that the economic and security challenges currently facing the region and the world started affecting the development process directly.

The Premier underlined the government’s keenness to create the tools that pave the way for development, particularly through insuring security and safety and leaving no loopholes through which terrorism can enter.
