All roads now lead to Block 338 in Adliya as Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) set up the biggest Formula 1 fan-engagement zone in the Kingdom as part of the lead-up to the Grand Prix.

The entertainment area, the first of its kind in the Kingdom, features a host of motorsport and Bahrain-themed entertainment, music and activities. There is a 2022 F1 car display, a chance to have a photo with the F1 World Championship trophy, an F1 “Pic Stop” and an Esports Zone.

There is also the main stage with daily live music performances to liven up the festival atmosphere, together with DJs, roaming performers, street artists and plenty of other colourful attractions for the whole family to enjoy.

Visitors are also able to experience a number of special Bahrain Craft stands in the F1 Village, showcasing the very best of Bahrain's modern and traditional craft.

Speaking to The Daily Tribune, Shaikh Salman, BIC Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa said: “We are very much excited as the event is going to create a milestone in F1 history.

New cars and all technologies that make racing better are in place and we are really happy today to launch this activity with BEYON Money. “Ticket sales, especially international, have been tremendous. We are also excited about the activities that lead up to the race including concerts and testing of the track.”

Roberto Mancone, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Board Member at BEYON Money, said: “The scope of BEYON Money is to provide fully digital financial services, from cars to remittances and from the connectivity of banks to personal finance management.” He said it is the perfect time for BEYON Money to join F1 combining speed, passion, innovation and technology.

Sherif Al Mahdy, Commercial Director, Bahrain International Circuit, said the title of the race says it all. “This is the new era of Formula One activations with an all-new mindset trying to bring people close to the action. We are grateful to BEYON Money as the title sponsor for such a great event.

Everyone in Bahrain should capitalize on this opportunity as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of this new era of motorsports.” A tour of the village was held for members of the media and dignitaries yesterday.
