Laurels Centre for Global Education chipped in for Forever Green Campaign

Team Laurels is absolutely delighted and honoured to collaborate with National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) and Southern Municipality to be a part of “Forever Green”, a visionary project under the patronage of HRH Princess Shaikha Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the Wife of HM the King of Bahrain. The students and staff participated in this great initiative of planting 50,000 trees all over Bahrain.
Shaikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa inaugurated the event and thanked the participation for the students.
The saplings were actively planted by the students and staff members along with other participants in this event. The students expressed their gratitude and happiness for giving them this opportunity (a maiden one for most of them) to be part of such a great cause.
While addressing his team before the start of the event, the Director/CEO Adv. Abdul Jaleel Abdulla expressed his gladness for the blissful place it would turn out to be, covered with trees, in a few decades.
He quoted the saying, “The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit.” as the students exuberantly participated in the activity. He also thanked immensely for the support rendered by the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD)
