The Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP) has begun accepting applications for its 2023 scholarship program online on: www.cpisp.bh.
To qualify, Bahraini students set to graduate in 2023 should have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 97% over the course of Grade 10 and the first semester of Grade 11. The application submission period will be from 1 - 17 March 2022.
Applicants are required to submit an official transcript in English, covering Grade 10 and the first semester of Grade 11, scanned copies of an identification document (ID Smart card and valid Passport), and a recent picture.
Explaining application procedures, the CPISP Director of Finance & Administration Affairs, Mrs Shatha Ahmed Ali, said: "Students who meet the application criteria will undergo further testing to assess their English proficiency and critical reasoning abilities. Of which, 40 public school students and 20 private school students will be selected based on their GPAs and assessment scores to be enrolled in the program's training courses, which will be taking place over the summer and carry over to the beginning of the next academic year."
The final ten scholarship recipients, five males and five females, will be announced in April 2023. Scholarship decisions are merit-based decisions that depend on GPA scores, IELTS and SATs test scores, as well as training courses outcomes.
