Bahrain Club win national bowling league title

Bahrain Club was crowned champions of the Bahrain Bowling Association (BBA) League 2021/2022. They clinched the title after finishing the season with a winning percentage of 82 per cent. They had 92 points won and 20 points lost while finishing the campaign with a total pinfalls count of 30,216.
Manama Club finished as the league runners-up with a 63.4 per cent winning clip. They had 71 points won and 41 points lost, with a pins total of 28,815. Um Al Hassam has ranked third overall with a 51.8 per cent winning mark.
They had 58 points won and 54 points lost with 26,619 pinfalls total. Rounding out the league standings were Al Hala in fourth with a 50.9 winning percentage, Deaf Club in fifth at 28.6 per cent, Isa Town in sixth at 19.6 per cent and Riffa in seventh at 3.6 per cent. Meanwhile, Manama has been crowned champions of the BBA Cup. They won the crown after defeating Hala 2,676-2,269 in the final match-up.
The tournament was a knockout affair. Manama made it through to the title match-up after defeating Bahrain Club 2,211-2,135. Hala won their semi-final against Isa Town 2,212-1,991.
In the competition’s first stage, Bahrain Club beat Um Al Hassam 2,622-2,151 while Manama won 2,467-2,027 against Deaf Club. Also in the opening round, Hala ousted Riffa 2,387-1,853, while Isa Town had a bye. Following both the league and cup tournaments, the winners were presented their respective trophies and medals in an awarding ceremony attended by BBA officials.
