A large number of fans were in for a great musical treat as Kings of Leon performed at Al Dana Amphitheatre on Friday. Kings of Leon is an American Grammy-award winning rock band from Nashville, Tennessee in 1999. The band comprises brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill with their cousin Matthew Followill.
The band’s early music was a blend of southern rock and garage rock, but it has gradually evolved to include a variety of genres. All three of the band’s albums have peaked in the top five of the UK Albums Chart.
The crowd at Al Dana Amphitheatre went into a state of frenzy as the event began. The rumble of fans filled the air with joy and celebrations reflecting the post-pandemic recovery in the Kingdom’s entertainment arena. “I don’t have words to describe the experience.
It was fantastic as a long wait has ended,” said 23 years old Nadira Jameel. She praised the organizers for hosting the show. “Now I can’t wait until Eric Clapton performs,” she said.
A band that was nominated 12 times for the prestigious Grammy Award released their “When You See Yourself ” album as a non-fungible token (NFT), becoming the first band to ever do so, quickly making waves through the music industry.
It has become one of the most successful wide-scale used NFTs until now. Carved from the rock of the spectacular Sahkir desert, Al Dana Amphitheatre is Bahrain’s newest and most exciting live entertainment destination.
Driven by a vision to create globally recognised entertainment experiences in the Kingdom, the extraordinary venue merges the desert landscape with state-of-the-art technology. The venue opened last November with an inaugural performance by Saudi musician Rashed Al Majed.
