Bahrain to host World Motor Sport Council meeting

Bahrain will host a meeting of the World Motor Sport Council on 18-19 March 2022.
The meeting coincides with the hosting of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Gran Prix 2022 at the Bahrain International Circuit, the home of motorsport in the Middle East.
The Council meeting, one of the most important on the global motorsport calendar, is being held in Bahrain for the second time, following a 2010 Council meeting in the Kingdom.
Bahrain has a longstanding enthusiasm for motorsport and Formula 1, and its role as Council host is recognition of the Kingdom’s standing within and significant contribution to international motorsport.
