Implementation of royal directives to provide 40,000 housing units to citizens successfully completed

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has reiterated the government’s keenness to cater to citizens’ requirements and needs, and meet their aspirations towards decent living conditions, particularly housing.

“Citizen’s comfort is our ultimate goal, which we are always keen to achieve,” said HM the King, noting that Bahraini citizens are the cornerstone of national development.

His Majesty was speaking as he received yesterday, at Al Safriya Palace, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He was informed by HRH Prince Salman about the successful implementation of the royal directives to provide 40,000 housing units.

HM the King expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for the landmark housing achievement, hailing his dedicated efforts to achieve further development and progress through ambitious initiatives and projects that ensure decent living conditions for citizens.

HM King Hamad received a commemorative memento from His Royal Highness marking the completion of the implementation of the royal directives to provide 40,000 housing units.

His Majesty commended the efforts of the Minister of Housing, staff and other competent government entities for drawing up and implementing residential projects, and providing initiatives and solutions in partnership with the private sector.
