Bahrain holds region’s first NFT MENA exhibition

The state-of-the-art exhibition that Bahrain has chosen to capitalize, presents us with a dynamic and futuristic view of the art world regionally and globally. 

This NFT art exhibition is reinforced by the rising popularity of the blockchain world, and specifically the utilization of NFTs by artists internationally.

The exhibition opened its door to visitors on March 16 to engage networking and attract people interested to get into the world of NFTs through exciting booths and art pieces that gave a glimpse into the future.

“We would like to thank HM the King and Chairman of the National Council for Arts Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa for their support in embracing new ideas in art and technology in Bahrain," Chairman of Dar Al Fann Gallery Abdulrahman Al Mokla said.

The exhibition will resume with a number of workshops and discussion panels introducing people to the world of Crypto, NFTs and blockchain held by a number of specialists in the field on how to utilize technologies as a creative outlet in the art world, and new opportunities in terms of investment and global markets.

The event displays a futuristic approach that the Kingdom is heading towards as it presents a revolution in digital art that will forever change the way we perceive it by merging culture and technology.

The exhibition is held until March 18 at the Ritz-Carlton from 4 pm-10 pm.
